Here is a jaw-dropping graph from CAMERA. It shows an almost-perfect correlation between the amount of money given to the Palestinian Authority (controlled by Fatah) and the number of Israelis and Palestinians murdered by Palestinian militants the following year.
Given the large amount of evidence implicating Fatah in terror, the explanation shouldn’t be much of a mystery, however:

To make the correlation clearer, the number of homicides has been shifted one year to the left — note the years are off by one when comparing the top of the graph to the bottom.
The resulting graph is clear indeed.
Perhaps it is just a coincidence. Or perhaps having full coffers gives dictatorial regimes the confidence and wherewithal to expand their less enlightened activities.
