Israel's operations in Gaza, by land, air and sea continued to attack Hamas terrorist infrastructure throughout the Gaza Strip on Sunday night and Monday.

In one incident, forces from the Golani Brigade reported hitting a number of armed gunmen during clashes in the northern Gaza Strip. Forces from the Giv'ati Brigade uncovered one mortar shell. In a number of cases, ground forces assisted the aiming of aerial attacks against groups of armed gunmen.
IAF aircraft attacked over 10 targets overnight including five armed Hamas operatives, four weaponry storehouses in the houses of Hamas operatives, two tunnels dug under houses of Hamas operatives, one smuggling tunnel located under Gaza the border with Egypt and one rocket launching position.
Israel Navy ships accompanied the ground forces, provided assistance and attacked Hamas terrorist sites.

During Sunday evening, Israel Air Force (IAF) planes attacked over 20 Hamas tunnels used for smuggling. The tunnels were along the Philadelphi Corridor along southern Gaza.
The IDF stated that the tunnels were used for smuggling military equipment used for terrorism purposes. All of the IAF planes safely returned to their bases.
The IAF also attacked a number of targets in the Rafiah region of south Gaza late on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, at least 12 Kassam and Grad rockets hit Ashdod, Sderot, Kiryat Malachi, Ashkelon, Ofakim, and the Eshkol and Merhavim regions through Sunday afternoon and evening. The first rocket has now fallen on the city of Kiryat Gat as well.
Ynet's Hanan Greenberg reports on Monday afternoon that the IDF struck Gaza mosque south of Gaza City which was hiding gunmen. Greenberg notes:
A Givati force spotted gunmen shooting from within. Weapons, including Qassam rockets were found inside the mosque.
Another force that fired at terrorists in the area uncovered antiaircraft missiles among the gunmen. The IDF struck 25 targets throughout the Gaza Strip since Monday morning.
